O God of mercy, understanding, and peace,
Let each of us realize our need for you,
And our need for one another.
Bring us closer to you.
Bring us closer to one another.
Help our beloved City of Thomonde:
To develop and maintain racial harmony,
To reject all violence,
To strive for understanding, and peace,
To find, develop and maintain prosperity.
Let there be peace on earth:
Let there be peace in our city;
Let this peace begin with me.
